Crimson Ventures, Crimson Technology Partners, and Clarity Med Systems form the ecosystem's governing and formative structure. The broader model also recognizes authorized delivery organizations and the Business Enablement Providers whose specialized capabilities, platforms, products, and services may be required to turn architecture into operational business value.

Constitutive membership, authorization to deliver Business Value Architecture™, and participation as a Business Enablement Provider are distinct relationships. Each carries different responsibilities and does not imply the others.

GOVERNANCE AND APPLICATION

The discipline must remain governed while its application continues to grow.

Business Value Architecture™ must be protected from becoming a loosely interpreted label applied differently by every organization that uses it.

Its foundational definitions, canons, constitutions, standards, and authorization requirements require consistent governance. At the same time, the discipline must continue to learn from practical delivery, industry application, executive experience, and the organizations authorized to use it.

The Crimson Ecosystem™ separates those responsibilities intentionally.

Governance remains independent from delivery. Delivery organizations apply the discipline in real organizational environments. Industry-specific organizations extend its application without redefining its foundation.

OWNER, GOVERNOR, AND STEWARD

Crimson Ventures

Crimson Ventures owns, governs, and stewards the foundational intellectual property of The Crimson Ecosystem™, including Business Intent™, Business Value Architecture™, and the Business Value Reference Architecture™.

Its responsibilities include:

·Maintaining foundational definitions
·Stewarding canons and constitutions
·Governing standards and authorized use
·Establishing authorization requirements
·Protecting the integrity and coherence of the discipline
·Receiving and evaluating feedback from delivery experience
·Guiding the disciplined evolution of the intellectual property

Crimson Ventures is not another delivery organization.

Its role is comparable to a standards governor and convening authority: it protects the discipline, establishes the standards by which it may be practiced, and provides the structure through which qualified organizations may contribute to its continued development.

Crimson Technology Partners is the formative delivery organization through which Business Value Architecture™ was developed, proven, and applied with executive teams.

The specialized capabilities required to turn architecture into operational business value.

Business Value Architecture™ determines what the organization must be capable of doing to achieve its Business Intent™. Those capabilities may depend on specialized providers whose expertise, platforms, products, and services enable the organization to execute and sustain that architecture.

Business Enablement Providers may participate wherever the required organizational capability extends beyond what the client should own or deliver internally.

Managed Services and Infrastructure

Managed service providers, cloud, infrastructure, connectivity, communications, support, availability, and operational technology services.

Enterprise and Industry Platforms

EHR and healthcare-platform providers, ERP systems, enterprise software, practice-management platforms, and other industry-specific solutions.

Data, Integration, and Analytics

Data architecture, systems integration, interoperability, information governance, analytics, reporting, and executive decision-support capabilities.

AI, Automation, and Software Development

AI platforms, automation specialists, custom software developers, workflow-enablement providers, and systems-integration firms.

Cybersecurity, Privacy, Risk, and Compliance

Cybersecurity, privacy, risk management, resilience, regulatory, compliance, and specialized assurance providers.

Professional and Organizational Services

Legal, financial, accounting, human-capital, organizational-development, training, marketing, customer-experience, and other specialized professional services.

Crimson does not compete with the providers an organization needs.

Crimson Technology Partners does not presume that it should replace Business Enablement Providers or perform work that properly belongs to them.

Crimson's role is to:

·Establish and protect the governing Business Intent™
·Architect the organizational capabilities required to achieve it
·Help leadership determine which capabilities should be owned internally and which require outside support
·Define the business outcomes, dependencies, decision rights, governance, and accountability expected of each provider
·Help evaluate and align appropriate providers when requested
·Ensure that individually reasonable provider solutions can work together as part of one coherent organizational architecture
·Continue measuring whether the combined environment is enabling the intended business value

Providers are not selected because a platform, product, or service is popular in isolation. They are evaluated according to their ability to support the organization's Business Intent™, required capabilities, operating environment, governance, readiness, and intended business value.

Participation as a Business Enablement Provider does not automatically confer authorization to deliver Business Value Architecture™ or constitutive membership in The Crimson Ecosystem™.

DELIVERY BEYOND THE ECOSYSTEM

Authorization does not create ecosystem membership.

The future of Business Value Architecture™ includes qualified consulting firms, professional-services organizations, industry specialists, and other delivery organizations authorized to apply the discipline.

Authorized delivery organizations and Business Enablement Providers serve different purposes. An authorized delivery organization has earned permission to apply Business Value Architecture™ according to governed standards. A Business Enablement Provider supplies a specialized capability, platform, product, or professional service required by the architecture. A single organization could eventually serve in both roles, but neither relationship should be assumed.

An authorized provider may:

·Deliver Business Value Architecture™ according to governed standards
·Use authorized intellectual property within the terms of its agreement
·Apply the discipline within approved markets or specialties
·Contribute practical experience and evidence
·Provide structured feedback to Crimson Ventures
·Participate in authorized education, certification, or convening activities

Authorization does not make the provider part of The Crimson Ecosystem™.

A future organization such as XYZ Consulting could earn authorization to deliver Business Value Architecture™, contribute meaningful delivery feedback, and participate in the discipline's professional community without becoming a constitutive ecosystem organization.

Ecosystem membership reflects a foundational role in the governance, formation, industry application, or continuing advancement of the discipline—not simply permission to deliver it.

Business Enablement Providers supply the specialized capabilities, platforms, products, and services required to execute and sustain the architecture.

Learn and Evolve

Crimson Technology Partners, Clarity Med Systems, authorized providers, and relevant delivery experience contribute structured evidence and feedback to Crimson Ventures. Crimson Ventures evaluates that feedback and governs any formal evolution of the discipline.

Delivery and provider experience informs the discipline. It does not independently redefine it.
